Venus Brown Floyd
President & CEO
Venus is CEO/Founder of Buddah Brown International, a global entertainment company spanning music, marketing, fashion, and technology. He got his start in the studio as President/GM of will.i.am Music Group, helping shape a string of Grammy-winning albums that defined a generation of pop music, and went on to become a trusted advisor to BMG's leadership. Alongside that success, Venus has built a career rooted in giving back — producing will.i.am's annual i.am angel benefit, musical directing a benefit for the Michael J. Fox Foundation, and partnering with Yoko Ono and UNICEF on a global performance of John Lennon's "Imagine" in support of children's causes. He served as President of Fashion Rocks for The Prince's Trust in the UK, produced Global Citizen's first and only concert in Dubai, and led Western Union's "World of Betters" campaign, which raised funds to support disadvantaged youth in India, South Africa, France, and the U.S. Today, he brings that same range to emerging technology, speaking on blockchain and Web3 at conferences and universities like Harvard Business School, and serving as a judge for the United Nations' Hult Prize.

Donyell "Donni" Floyd
executive director
A published children's book author, certified herbalist, and serial entrepreneur, Donni has paved her own path across a number of different industries. Inspired by a sleepless night with one of her children, she wrote "The Curious Child," a picture book that encourages school-age kids to ask questions in moments that might otherwise pass them by — using playful language and beautiful illustrations to remind children and adults alike that it's okay not to have all the answers. Donni is also no stranger to philanthropy: she is the former founder and director of Just Cause for Humanity, a community service organization and blog dedicated to promoting the practice of philanthropy, where she developed new and innovative ways to build support for other nonprofit organizations. Today, she runs Simply Dalish, her brand of signature herbal blends, including hand-crafted healing balms, oils, and teas. Donni is completing her bachelor's degree in English Literature at Harvard University.

A graduate of the University of Southern California with degrees in Theatre and Marketing, Akai's deep-rooted commitment to giving back led her to a career at the intersection of marketing and philanthropy. She brings several years of experience in operations and digital marketing, with a focus on nonprofits and for-good technology companies. At Whole Whale, a marketing agency dedicated exclusively to nonprofits and social impact companies, she led and managed marketing strategy for hundreds of thousands in annual spend for regional and national organizations. She also worked in growth marketing at Via Transportation, a technology company focused on making public transit more accessible across the country. Alongside her time in marketing, Akai has honed her operational skills through working in production for a number of feature films, television shows, and live performances. With particular passions for environmental protection and social equity, Akai is excited to explore new avenues for impact by managing successful events and building lasting philanthropic relationships with local organizations at Lake Alkebulan Farm.
